Intro To French
Your Passport to Fun!
French is one of the two languages considered to be a global language (English is the other one). French and English are the most widely taught and most widely spoken languages in the world! This means that you could go anywhere in the world and find someone who speaks either English or French! Pretty cool, right?!? In fact, did you know that there are over 30 countries worldwide that speak French? We will take some time in class to learn about a few of them and experience some of their culture/food :) Yum!
Classwork...................................... 33 % - Completing the notes/assignments

Tests, Quizzes, Homework?
Most of our work will be completed in class. You will take notes on the things we learn, we'll play games to help learn/review and there will be small assignments/assessments along the way. Then at the end of our travels we will have one BIG test that covers all of things we've learned how to say and the countries we have visited.
Where will we go and what will we do when we get there?
Our travels will start in France, our home base, from there we will travel to several French speaking countries. Mme Frite will get our travels started and lead us through France, then each of you will get to be our "tour guide" for one of the countries that follows. You'll help us get to know the country while Mme Frite teaches us how to communicate. Make sure that if you choose a presentation, that you share/send it to Mme Frite.
